Abstract

The "Chronicle of Nuremberg" of 1493, that narrates the origin of the universe, reveals a God creating a world that is still incomplete. Establishing a link between this conception of creation quoted in "Genèses du roman contemporain" (1993) and "Le manuscrit inachevé. Écriture, Création, Communication" (1986), it is emphasized the hesitation of some writers in accepting the contingency of their works and the necessity of the genetician in taking into account the corrected fragments or the versions not published, not as a variant, but as a step toward a different logic of the text.
