Brazilian regional cultures within a corporate environment

Brazil is not only a country but also half a continent and, as such, bears a number of regional cultures. The observation of a team consisting of professionals from all over the country demonstrates that regional cultures do show up in the daily interactions between those professionals but that such diversity does not affect the communications within the team. This is due to a core of common values, both instrumental and desired, that are shared by all members of the team, which is subject to intense pressure to deliver quality work. Rhetoric comes out as an important investigation tool of such context.
