Dentre outras coisas, nesta entrevista John Dugard versa sobre a tipificação de apartheid e seus vínculos com o colonialismo, a legalidade dos movimentos palestinos de resistência, a atuação dos diferentes relatores especiais designados pelo CDH-ONU e compara o caso sul-africano e israelense, assim como sua interpretação do apartheid israelense (restrita aos TPO) com aquela contida na bibliografia e em outros relatórios, atinente ao território como um todo. Ainda, comenta sobre suas expectativas quanto ao processo movido contra o Estado de Israel pelo Estado da Palestina no Tribunal Penal Internacional que, em 2021, reconheceu ter jurisdição sobre o caso.
