This work seeks to establish the cultural features found in architectural practice, viewing them as essential to the construction of mankind's identity. The modern movement in architecture represented an episode of historical transition which brought deep reflections on the technological changes occurring after the Industrial Revolution. This movement reintroduced these changes in cultural productions and shaped established architectural practices. The outcome of the modern movement in architecture, which flourished under the reconstruction of Europe following World War II, couldn't overcome the critical inadequacy inherited from CIAM, which emphasized the technical features in architectural practice.Downloads
