A brief review of medical prehospitalar care

Abstract

The prehospitalar medical care is a relatively recent area, having been implanted in Brazil in the last 10 years, according to French model that dates since the decade of 50. For the lack of pertinent legislation, several regional models were created in several cities of Brazil, and,specially, in Ribeirão Preto this system of medical prehospitalar care is accomplished since october 1996 by the local team of SAMU.
