The Latter-day aesthetic evaluation of natural Landscapes has brought up a new, privileged dimension to tourism practicing, as well as to the veryconceptualization of the environment. The tourism boom currently taking place worldwide has strengthen this conceptual evolution, and imposed a new territorialism to attractive places, converting them into symbolic merchandize - idyllic natural landscapes that fill the sociaL imagery. The present paper proposes an analysis of two kinds of touristic enclaves established within natural preserves, and evidences the socio-spatial contradictions of the touristic places' imagery.
