This article analyses the events and business tourism market, presents the performance data and information. It is a segment of the tourism that will grow more in the next years, a tendency fortified by the increase of the business travel and as a result of the globalization process. It is an important job creator, which helps to improve the living conditions of local residents. It analyses specially the city of Guarulhos and its International Airport, hotel chains, highways and the components of infrastructure. Provides some directives which will affect the events and business tourism and the perspectives of Guarulhos to conquer its development through this market. The analysis and forecasts presented were based upon the research involving hotels and investors of this city.
