Abstract

This present article deals about some reflections conceming a group of bodywork and dancing with mothers and relatives of disabled at the Estação Especial da Lapa - São Paulo. Trough observations about this experience it is possible to show the potentiality of corporal approaching in Occupational Therapy, tracing some of their objectives and methodological aspects. Beside these, some repercussions of these actions were analyzed together with this population, reaffirming the necessity that the occupational therapist actuates with the families, specifically the mothers and/or the persons who maintains a close acquaintance to disabled.
