Abstract

Work practice and reflection together a proposal is implemented and conceptualized by Paulo Freire. The Brazilian educator who researched a lot and spread the importance of developing the theory together with the action, saw his ideas followed by Argentine Mario Kaplún communicator, to whom the communication should be participatory and democratic. Based on the theoretical especially those researches, carried out the Communication for Citizenship: Technologies, Identity and Community Action, the extension project interfaces with the research - funded by FAPEMIG - who works with adolescents in education communication classes. From participatory research and literature, here are reflections on the workshop and the work of students participating in the project. Evaluated, as advocated by Paulo Freire, the practice coupled with theory contributes to science and the strengthening of citizenship.
