Abstract

Genetic criticism, a new approach to literary knowledge, is deeply marginal for three reasons: sociological, scientific and methodological. 1. The nature of the object studied and the procedures make its acceptance by the literary criticism still very difficult. 2. The drafts, manuscript or not, are documents which many times have little accessibility and (demand from the researcher a long time) are very time-consuming for the researcher, reasons why it may be despised or rejected by other critics. 3. Genetic Criticisms takes into account and works with the margins of the document.
