Abstract

The article is based on research on sociability forms and meeting sites in the city of São Paulo. lt proposes analytical-enic categories as neighbourhood areas, trajectory, etc. as mean for understanding the relations between social habits and the urban spaces where they take place. The  purpose of the article is to present those categories and discuss their process of construction, their effectiveness and their possibilities of use as analytical tools
