The article discusses the trajectory of the Movement for Men’s Health, a campaign held in 2010 that intended to advise the male population about health disorders. The movement promoted by the Brazilian Society of Urology put its focus around the erectile dysfunction, prostate diseases and andropause. The main object of analysis are the contents of the campaign website that relied on testimony from health professionals and patients and their families. The theoretical orientation comes from the framework associated with the social studies of science, in particular the notion of “network” and the distinctions relating to gender and sexuality. The conclusion aims to identify a direct association between sex and men’s health, from a privileged focus on erectile dysfunction.
