Abstract

In this article, my purpose is to think about the process of creation of my field itself of inquiry in which I looked to investigate the fisherwomen's invisibility. I was inspired in Gioconda Mussolini, which remained invisibly for much time, however which is in the undeniable form the precursor of the studies on fishing in Brazil. Gioconda Mussolini inspires me doubly, for the invisibility itself in which it remained and that came to the surface with the inquiry of Ciacchi and for the form as it left us a pioneer ethnography about the fishing
