Some elements for training of medical students

The objective of the present report was to present data from the educational and psychological literature about the interactions between individual characteristics and learning and to relate them to specific studies conducted on Medical students. Considering an individual characteristic to be a complex to aptitudes, the article presents some dimensions of the cognitive and personality fields that have shown relations with the processes of academic learning and with medical training in particular.
