This paper presents the basic characteristics of the hospitality that should be offered at the touristic destinations and their touristic equipment and services. It presents the concept of hospitality focusing some fundamentalcategories such as: the need of hospitality inner to man; The relationship man-space; the desire and the host's hope; the organization of the hospitality; the smile; the tourist's hospitality place; the personnel profile and formation for the hospitality.
