The present work aims to contextualize the work of the culture and literature scholar, Russian philosopher and critic Yuri Lotman, starting with his education at the University of Leningrad and concluding by his activity as professor of Russian literature at the University of Tartu and the creator of the semiotics of culture.Downloads
