Abstract

After almost a hundred years of Freud's reflections about the schoolboy psychology and taking into consideration the new configuration of social ties, this paper proposes a discussion about what are showed nowadays as adolescent symptoms, a breakdown, if not a state of panic, in front of school's demands. In a first moment, the place of the master and its current decay, already thought by Hannah Arendt as the trigger of the educational crisis and, in addition, of the adolescent crisis. Then, the incidence of that situation will be articulated with the knowledge desire of the adolescent.
