The use of inclusive teaching activities has been pointed out as being of great relevance in the field of Mathematics Education. This article brings the results of research that aimed at identifying the argumentative categories used in mathematics teaching activities for the visually impaired, as presented in one of the major events in the area, the National Meeting of Mathematics Education, over the last two decades. Theoretical foundation is based on the categories of explicative and justificative arguments, as previously described in the literature. The research had a qualitative nature and encompassed bibliographical, documental, exploratory, and descriptive aspects. The activities of the past eight events, which take place every three years, were investigated. The study was conducted through research on the website of the Brazilian Society of Mathematical Education and, as a result, we can indicate that there are few works involving argumentation, and, in positive cases, explicative argumentation predominates.
