Avaliação do produto turístico em Sergipe: formulação de estratégias para o setor

The objective of this study is to draw a profile of the tourists who visit Aracaju, identify their main motivations and factors that have an influence on their travelling habits, to evaluate their perceptions regarding the tourists attractions of the state, and to analyse the degree of convergence and divergence between the perceptions of the tourists and tourism managers. It was interviewed four hundreds tourists and the data were analysed by the software Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Some conclusions have been drawn from this study: the horizons of Sergipe tourism are mainly limited to the neighbour state Bahia. the tourists do not know about lhe main tourists attractions of the state because they stay only in the capital and generally speaking they are not critical in their evaluation of the tourist product and infra structure. Some suggestions have been presented to the formulation e implementation of strategies for lhe sector that could contribute for the transformations of this situation.Downloads
