Abstract

This article aims to analyze the acting of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDFé), Vatican department, and the Instructions, ecclesiastical letters, Liberatis Nuntuis - About some aspects of Liberation Theolog (1984) and Liberatis Conscientia - On Christian Freedom and Liberation (1986), written when Joseh Ratzinger presided the Congregation. In the framework of a disciplinary action, the Instructions were about Freedom and structuring an idea of Truth, and were considered a landmark on the work of the Catholic Church in the "Social Issues"
