Lagoa Santa region has been subject of archaeological studies since the first part of XIXth Century. Known for the recurrent presence of human burials, rockshelter occupations and a chronology that dates back to Brazil´s first occupation, this region has shown, in the last years, evidences of open-air occupation, with available datas for different periods along the Holocene. In this paper we explore the data related to one of those sites, specifically in relation to its lithic assemblage. From this data we discuss its formation process and its chronology, putting this site into a dynamic occupation system of the hole karstic region of Lagoa Santa.Downloads
