Abstract

The activities in this issue concerns on the following topics: the young teacher and his/her pedagogical action, relating it to his/her expectations and professional choices; the infl uence of media
culture in children’s toys and games, reminding that they are essential to the child development, by providing symbolic
development, stimulating imagination, ratiocination ability and self‑esteem; the conception of appropriation of media by children and young people.
